From 9x to over 200x the Pronto offers tack-sharp, widefield viewing. With its 2" focuser, Pronto takes full advantage of the performance of all Tele Vue eyepieces. Its short 480mm focal length provides a 5.5 degree field with the 55mm Plossl! The diffraction limited, 70mm, ED objective lens lets Pronto soar to high magnifications like no other telescope.

Mechanical Features

Pronto's opticsare housed in a magnificent symphony of CNC machined metals. Parts finished in black anodizing and chrome plating complement either the Evergreen or Ivory powder coated tube. These durable finishes provide years of effortless care .

Niceties such as captive lock screws (they can't fall out), a captive sliding dew glare shield and screw-on metal lens cover add to the pleasure of using Pronto.
