Optically this is a beauty, mechanically is a tank. See the Review

The CG5 has been manufactured for a long time with relative bad reviews, Celestron changed this by introducing a much better tripod and some changes to the mechanic of the drive. The electronic section is a NextStar hardware.

The Universal Astronomics Micro Star Deluxe is AltAzimuth drive, very simple to use and extremely handy. It is very stable and can hold several times its weight.

The Televue Pronto has a 70mm Aperture, ED Doublet Focal Length 480mm Focal Ratio f/6.8 Max Visual Field 5.5 degrees Weight/Length 6 lbs./17".

Very good mechanics and optics. For a Review click here

The PST telescope has a modest 40mm aperture f/10,  400mm focal length. There are two wideband blocking filters in the system to reject unwanted and harmful radiation - one within the coating of the front lens and the second close to the eyepiece.

You can see very cool things in the Sun. Here is a Review

The Meade 2045 is a 4" Smith Cassegrain design f/10 made 100% of aluminum very handy for astrophotography and acts as a 1000mm telephoto
